From inception Swatek has built a local and international reputation as a company of a excellence with wealth of knowledge, working with a multitude of customers in the military, commercial. In 2009 Swatek was bought over from the previous owners and is privately owned
and managed by a Black African Woman. In 2018 Swatek changed from a CC to Swatek Defence and Aerospace (Pty) Ltd. Swatek is a level 1 BBBEE company with a 100 %. Swatek received various performance awards based on price service time and quality. Furthermore, it strives to adhere to the International Organisation of Standardisation (ISO) auditing process (Small Business Quality Management Systems Requirements)
